Michael Skråmo är den mest profilerade IS-rekryteraren som har rest från Sverige. Han är norsk medborgare, men född och uppvuxen i Göteborg.
I olika videoklipp som han spelade in i Syrien uppmanade han andra att ansluta sig till terrorgruppen IS och han uppmanade också människor att utföra terrorattentat i Sverige
I början av mars fick SVT Nyheter uppgifter om att Michael Skråmo skulle ha gripits i östra Syrien, men sanningshalten i uppgifterna kom att ifrågasattas. Det är alltså ännu oklart om han någonsin har varit gripen.
”Avled av sina skador”
De senaste veckorna har också motstridiga uppgifter kommit kring om Michael Skråmo är vid liv eller inte. Michael Skråmos mamma uppger nu för SVT Nyheter att han är död.
Det är oklart exakt hur IS-rekryteraren dog, men hans mamma uppger skriftligt att han ”avled av sina skador”.

För att få ytterligare en källa att bekräfta Michael Skråmos död har SVT Nyheter tagit kontakt med Säkerhetspolisen. Kommunikationschef Nina Odermalm Schei uppger att det inte ligger i myndighetens uppdrag att bekräfta dödsfall.
